Joseph T. Santoro

B.A. (Hons), LL.B.

Prospective clients deserve a lawyer who has competence, integrity, assertiveness, high ethics and professional standards while being passionate about the work that he does. These are all qualities that Joseph Santoro strives to possess. He maintains that the practice of law is not just about legal knowledge and procedure, but about the people you represent and the relationships you build.

Joseph is a Barrister and Solicitor and a member in good standing of the Law Society of Upper Canada. He was born and raised in Sarnia, Ontario.

Joseph earned his Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology and Political Science from St. Jerome’s College at the University of Waterloo. He subsequently earned his Bachelor of Law degree from the Faculty of Law at the University of Western Ontario. He has been a member of the Ontario Bar since 2002.

Immediately following his call to the Bar, Joseph returned to Sarnia to begin his career as a sole practitioner and has been practicing as such ever since. His office has been located at 265 North Front Street in Sarnia since August of 2007, and he is currently located in a private office in Suite 404 to accommodate his growing business.

Joseph has expanded his law practice to the town of Gore Bay located on the north shore of Manitoulin Island. Even with a busy office, he is always more than willing to make accommodations for and bring the practice to clients in surrounding areas who are unable to attend meetings in Gore Bay.

Throughout his practicing years, Joseph’s practice had focused and continues to focus on the following areas:

  • Real Estate and Mortgages;
  • Wills and Estate Planning;
  • Estates Administration.

He routinely provides residents of Sarnia, Gore Bay, and the surrounding area with services in these areas.

Joseph will strive to build relationships that allow for the development of mutual trust and respect with the people he works with and the clients he represents.

Mission Statement

“I have always distinguished myself in the practice of Law based upon both the service and quality that I provide to the client. Our office will make the legal experience a pleasurable and informative one.

I personally deal with each and every client and make it a point of meeting with them and reviewing all legal aspects including documentation rather than allowing my staff to do so. In this way, I will ensure that my clients fully understand not only the process involved, but also the documents that they are signing.”
